  • What is the rescheduling policy?
    Rescheduling Policy: Anyone can reschedule into a future class, if one is available, by paying a rescheduling fee according to the fee chart below. If you agree to the fee, we will charge your card accordingly. The rescheduling fee is not waived for any reason. (There is no rescheduling fee when the reschedule is a result of our class cancellation). All CPR-First Aid Classes: Fee is $40. All Instructor-Level Classes: Fee is $100.   • What is your refund policy?
    Refund Policy: Refunds for CPR/First Aid classes and instructor-level classes are granted according to the number of days-notice given prior to the class start date. **Below is the schedule of the percentage of your course fee refunded to you. Notice given day of enrollment……....…..100% 7+ days-notice..................................................50% 5-6 days-notice.................................................25% 0-4 days-notice.................................................0%
  • What if I enroll in the wrong class?
    Choose your class carefully. If you choose the wrong class, the rescheduling and refund policies will apply. Things to consider: Adult & Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED Course is a lay (citizen) responder course. The certificate earned from this course satisfies most workplace training requirements except for the healthcare provider. Basic Life Support (BLS) Course is a healthcare provider CPR course. The certificate earned from this course satisfies most workplace training requirements for the healthcare provider.** **There are 2 major providers of BLS training: American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. Ascertain which provider of training that your workplace requires.
  • How do I access the online portion of the blended learning class?
    You will receive a hyperlink in your enrollment confirmation email with instructions on how to access the online session. If you don't receive the email in your In Box, check your Spam folder. Remember! The online session must be completed before attending the instructor-led session.
  • What is the policy on late arrival to the class?
    While we understand that circumstances beyond your control could cause you to arrive late, we are not able to allow you admittance to the class if you are more than 5 minutes late for the CPR or BLS classes. Most students have shared with us that they allow more travel time to get to the class. We are adhering to Red Cross guidelines for late arrivals. The rescheduling and refund policies will apply to late arrivals.
  • I am having technical difficulty with the online session. What do I do?
    Please refer to the chart below for troubleshooting assistance. Computer Requirements for the Online Training: Processors Dual-core processor with a speed greater than or equal to 2.3 GHz RAM 4 GB Operating System Desktop: Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, OS X Snow Leopard 10.6+ Tablet: iPad iOS 7+ (Safari), Android 4.0.3+ (Google Chrome) This course is not supported on smartphone devices. Browsers Chrome 49+, Firefox 47+, Safari 9+ Cookies, JavaScript, Images and HTML5 audio/video must be supported Screen Resolution 1024x768 Color Depth High Color, 32Bit Bandwidth 2.0 mbps dedicated or faster. Broadband internet access is recommended. Audio A soundcard and either speakers or headphones for multimedia audio. Tips and Tricks: • Do not leave the lesson windows open and idle; the system will time out, and your progress will not be saved. • Modules must be fully completed before pausing and be sure to log out when stopping the course. If you need to take a break, you can leave the course by closing the window and your progress in the course will automatically be saved. • When opening the eLearning content, a new window will pop up. The original window displays a large red banner that says, “DO NOT CLOSE. PROGRESS WILL NOT SAVE.” Do not close the window, or your progress will not be saved. • It is the student’s responsibility to provide proof of completion using one of the three methods listed below: o Print out your online course completion record and show it to your instructor o Show the email confirmation you received upon completing the online to your instructor (i.e. show on mobile phone or other device or via printed copy) o Login to your account and show the instructor the check mark next to the course name that appears when you completed the online portion.   • What if I did not have time to complete the online session prior to the in-person scheduled date?
    Per Red Cross policy, you will not be admitted to the in-person session. Rescheduling and refund policies apply in this situation.
  • Where can I access and download my Red Cross CPR course completion certificate?
    After 72 hours, you will have access to your course completion certificate online. Copy the following hyperlink to an internet browser to obtain a copy of your certificate online. There is no fee to access this service. https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/digital-certificate
